An online shop for things that don’t need to exist – but you’re glad they do. Curated one-of-a-kind objects: design, craft, jewellery, curiosities. The Treasuredome has its own logic, its own language, and a strict no-trödel policy. Less snobbery, more colour, better stories.
There’s a specific kind of joy that only happens in a good antique shop. You walk in looking for nothing in particular and leave an hour later knowing things you didn’t know before – about a ceramic tradition, a defunct appliance brand, a decade you weren’t alive for. The objects have stories. The shop has a charm. You discover things you didn’t know you wanted.
Online antique shops have none of this. They have search bars and filter menus and product grids that make a 1960s Murano glass vase look like a SKU.
The Treasuredome started with my mother-in-law’s collection and a simple question: why can’t „bummeln“ exist on the internet? Not searching – browsing. The kind where you stumble, detour, and end up somewhere unexpected.
So we built a shop for all those one-of-a-kind objects: design, craft, jewellery, curiosities. It doesn’t move fast. Neither does a good flea market. The right thing waits for the right person – that’s not a bug, that’s the whole point.
